you can sit there enjoying the view or
I’ve done plenty of both in my time,
it can be hard to know which choice is the right one.
Sometimes, it depends on the day.
Or my mood.
Or external forces.
Sometimes you take it all in,
sometimes, you let it all go.
Wings are made for flight, but birds have feet for a reason.
Balance.

Balance: Often pursued, rarely achieved?
Except here: Your art work seamed with the wistfulness of your words – a nice balance.

kelly-you always say what I am thinking–but you write more clear than I think:) Hoping that all made sense…lovely bird–I never think of a bird having feet–really…balance–so true. I have gone to the birds here–Robins-finches-and even bluebirds nesting right on my porch! I love your texture work–adds to the story–very lovely.
