apple pie sky
It’s been a week of catching up, starting out with jury duty that wasn’t, software upgrades that took their own sweet time, and a big bundle of restless energy driving me to get things accomplished.
Perhaps I’m nesting for winter, or maybe it’s this light, filled with gold and just enough warmth to keep me turning my face skyward.
I wonder if the apple tree feels rushed at the end of the season, if she hurries up to get all those leaves set free before the snow flies. Or if she simply languishes in a job well done, fruit and seed and sun all gathered for the harvest.
Either way, she’s sitting pretty.

either way is a good direction!

Languishing in a job well done . . . wonder what that feels like. 🙂
