a friday filled with possibility
It being my favorite day of the week, with lots of work to be done, and tonight, a fire to be made, sat in front of, enjoyed.
Yes, it’s cold enough for an indoor fire again.
Poet Adrienne Rich died this week. There was not a great deal of news coverage, but she was an important figure in the the world of contemporary poetry.
April is National Poetry Month. I have taken a huge leap of faith and signed up for NaPoWriMo, which is basically a commitment to write a poem a day for the entire month. This should be interesting. I will be posting the poems over at mrs. mediocrity.
I’m so glad it’s Friday. Now, I had better go and get all this work done so I can relax tonight.
I think the color of this flower is a poem all in itself, don’t you?

Wishing you a weekend filled with loveliness.

A poem a day is quite the undertaking. Looking forward to reading them. Have a great weekend.
